...for the fact that it took forever even though it's quite short. D: But I'm pretty satisfied with that little middle bit, though. I hate writing in such a slow speed (if you know what I mean), but Ueda's emo right now so I can't help it? But in truth, I like writing everything as if the scene was being rushed and such, which is why I liked that particular bit, but... meh. ♥
As the door slid open, Ueda couldn’t help but be transfixed with the movement, bracing himself in suspenseful apprehension as a sudden image of dark locks and fair skin flashed into his head.
But instead of the person who had plagued his mind for the past few days appearing before him, there stood a tall man was soft auburn hair.
A faint ah escaped between parted lips as Ueda found himself blinking rapidly, his hand falling from the window to his side. He stared at the other, vague curiosity written all over his face, but blinked, startled as the man suddenly looked up.
He was about a head taller than Ueda, with simple hair cut into a short but suitable style, and although he wasn’t sure why, the younger boy liked the way the other man held onto the bundle of manila folders, but suspected it might’ve had something to do with the way long and elegant fingers folded over them in a graceful manner. As he felt the other’s burning gaze, Ueda appreciated the eyes the most-the way the midday light shone and reflected the dark orbs in this pleasing way, making him release a warming breath. And unwillingly, his gaze traveled towards unfamiliar, pouty pink lips as his eyes glazed over in subconscious wonder. However, they quickly refocused as the man bowed deeply and a calming tenor voice reached his ears. “…maru Yuichi, the new school physician. You will be in my care from now on!”
Ueda just stared at the man, ignoring the outstretched hand as the other’s words didn’t fully register in his mind.
“New…” He stepped back, clutching the window sill beside him as if to steady himself and balance his muffled mind underneath the white noise he was hearing. His eyebrows furrowed together as his eyes spoke desperate pleas, and he suddenly found it hard to breathe, slowly gasping.
New school physician. A sudden anguish drenched him completely and the numbing dread he was feeling all week fell heavily and achingly in his chest and he gasped, falling against the window as his vision blurred and his knees gave way. He heard a far away and echoing drop and rustling of papers as a hazy voice yelled with worry and panic, and he was shaking and shivering and he was being shaken. His eyes slowly moved underneath a layer of glistening tears to blearily glance up at the concerned expression that hovered over his own and he hiccupped a cry, gasping painfully as he clutched onto the other’s shirt tightly and loosely because he couldn’t feel anything, and the next moment, couldn’t see anything.

It was a quiet darkness-heavy and tense, and it was suffocation when he tried to breathe but as light as air when he didn’t. He found himself to be quite fond of it.
“It's suspicious,” he remembered. “The pretty boy fainting too often.”
“You think?” Skeptical, tugging at a lock of hair. "It's not like I do it on purpose."
A deep, pleasing laugh. “Yeah, but maybe you shouldn't come here during lunch time, too?”
A frown and a stare, leaning treacherously close. "...Do you not want me here, Sensei?"
Playing with words-manipulation; hazardous, dangerous. Too close.
-and a pause. "Iie, I don't mind." Eyes twinkling with mirth. "It gets lonely when I'm eating by myself."
Confused? Don't be. XD It actually isn't? It'll be explained later...
[edit] Changed the ending. ^^; Makes more sense now, deshou? ♥ I actually like it now. /awed> Does anyone get what it hints at? =D? Sado, did I hint it too quickly? XD Should've waited a bit more? [/edit]
