Finally read this!

I hadn't been reading the fic versions because I followed the blogs, so when you published this I never read it. I thought it was just a recap of blog stuff.
But then you said on tumblr that it actually ended HERE, but on the blogs.

Anyway, I finally came over to read it and it was so lovely! It was a little bittersweet with Arthur having to sort of crush Alfred' enthusiasm like that at the end, but I liked the line where he said "I'm just saying not to think this is some story that ends when our time together for this vacation is over." It was so true - if they love each other, it shouldn't matter if they can physically be together or not. When they eparate, it's not over. So it's going to be okay, even if they have to wait a whle to move closer together.
I'm happy they made love. I really wasn't expecting it, considering they'd been so shy and awkward and emotionally all over the palce during the time they've gotten to know each other. But that scene just made it clear how much they've grown up individually, and as a couple. They seemed ready to face all kinds of challenges, and survive them. It was such a postivie ending, and I feel so...content right now. I am just completely satisfied and warm inside. I don't want to go teach class and ruin it now - I want to sit back adn enjoy this feeling. Stupid work!

Thank you so much for all your hard work on this project! I mean, that was one hell of an undertaking! Maintaining two blogs, keeping the narrative, adding drama, talking to regular people, and making sure it all fit together like a proper story. Truly incredible. I was so excited when you announced this project, because it sounded like the kind of thing I could only DREAM of seeing - sort of like my ideal USUK fanwork. I was really looking forward to it, even at the beginning, and not that it's over let me say that you did not disappoint! It was just fantastic.
(I was also hella excited when I noticed my own name in one of the fanfic chapters! I felt so special!!)

Thank you again! And good luck with finishing your other fanfics. I'll miss you when you're gone and we don't get amazing stuff like this anymore...*Sniff*
