You know, every time you write something, I get so overwhelmed with a deluge of feels I never know what to say. But I had to say something this time because you deserve every review you get, and many more. You're an incredible author.

In any case, you manage to tug my heart strings every time! I mean, you really do the characters justice. They're always so set in their point of view and the wrongs they think the other has committed, and that's why it makes that moment when they become aware of the other's perspective so...effective. That "damn, I messed up" moment is something I, of course, can relate to.

You also always seen the character evolve in your stories. They're one way when the story begins, but through a series of events they have to change the way they think and that's what propels any movement in the story and development of the character. And then this open ending is so wonderful - it's sad because they can't be fully healed right now, but you end the story with a flourish of hope that they can be, one day. That's much better than rushing through to make up sex and flawless love.

One thing I think I could suggest is steering away from cliche traps. The story itself wasn't cliche to me, but a few sentences here and there sort of stuck out to me as being a little predictable or too emotional. But! It doesn't take away from the core idea you have for the story, and I know it's something you're getting better at because I've seen the progress.

I wish I could say more, because all the time and effort you put into this is worth more than a little review. I'm sending you my love too, with first class postage. I don't always leave a review simply because I don't know how to express how you leave me feeling, but I always read everything and I always look up to you. I hope that you continue writing for a very long time, and can't wait for HF 2 in a few days!!

Oh my! I don't know how to properly reply to this review! It's so sweet!

To make point of the cliche traps, I had to with this story from time to time. I wanted to make this story serious, but with a silly undertone to it. I mean, c'mon, the Wild West with America is a perfect set-up for laughs and look backs to the old movies. I'm a huge fan of Westerns in the first place, so I did this as a silly nod to them.

But thank you so much for this review. I really wish I could gush more of it, but I really do mean it when I say this means a lot to me. Thank you.
