My contractions have taken a turn for the worse - I'm contracting every 10-15 minutes or more, and they feel stronger than they were before. That's why my OB decided to do a fetal fibronectin test yesterday, and called this morning to tell me it was positive. She has me scheduled for an ultrasound in a couple of hours to see if I am dilating or effacing, and to check on the baby. I don't know what her plan is if I'm dilating/effacing - I know it's possible that she could admit me for the duration. That would certainly put us on the road to a million-dollar baby! Not that money matters at all - we'll do whatever we have to to keep this little boy safe.
