(no subject)
am at dragon*con. my first one. hangin' with debbie and sam, et al. all i can say is it's like a renn faire ON CRACK, with a SHITLOAD of gamers thrown in. the hilton, the marriott, and the hyatt (all side by side) all booked slam solid and all manner of freaks, geeks, goths, gamers, pagans, punks, superheroes, storm troopers, and clingons (who even have their own beauty pageant WTF) abound. and the vendors....omg. i love it. i bought a beautiful rune pendant - laguz, inguz, nauthiz, and ehwaz. look 'em up. bought it yesterday when i got here, in hindsight i have to wonder why i came back to that vendor twice and just HAD to have it RIGHT THEN, but anyway. best semi-spontaneous road trip EVER.
due to some circumstances beyond my control (not going there, here, so no comments necessary), my dumb, unable-to-cope-with-my-emotions ass actually drank jagermeister last night. and tequila. notsomuch a good combo, especially for a girl who really likes neither, hasn't been truly drunk in quite some time, is on her 28th hour with no sleep and thus inherently emo, is 3 city blocks away from her suite, and happens to have on four-inch heels and a really tight corset. oy. my friends had my back, literally and figuratively. love you guys. i'll be the designated back-watcher tonight. :)
i am just now stirring to life for the day. a $6 bottle of evian and a $3 snickers from the honor bar never tasted so damn good.
sorry if font/format on this post is wonky. am updating from my phone because i refuse to pay $15 a day for wifi. dunno wtf's up with that. geez, even a damned hotel 6 has free wifi.
okay...last thing...im so over the im not gay idaho senator drama. what's the shakespeare quote? - 'methinks thou dost protesteth too much' *eyeroll* keep on diggin', man, keep on diggin'. must be dark in that closet.
