... Does anyone else find it suspicious that even those who no longer exist have died in their worlds received these letters as well?

I dunno. Maybe their worlds are like that too. It's not like people's souls just disappear when they die, after all.

I meant that not every world might be similiar to yours in the aspect of souls having the ability to interact with, or even affect the living world.
