Other than my family slamming me hard for getting my tattoo, and predicting my father's reaction all day....
Christmas turned out to be better than expected.
Lets see...
I got a new cell phone (Razr VCast)....PINK! , two new bathrobes, another pair of slippers, that 20 Q's game, perfume, Hair DVD, 1st season of Everwood since Victor still has mine from last XMas, mini RENT poster, new hobo gloves, cute bracelet that says 'Life is a journey, not a destination', gift certificates (Gap, AE, Uno's) and money ($50 from Grandparents, $25 from sister), won $4 on a scratch ticket, new winter down jacket (light green w/ faux fur on the hood, which can be removed for rainy days, plus removable hood), more chocolate covered expresso beans, this cool oil thing w/ sticks that smells like you are burning a candle b/c I cant burn anything in my dorm room, a thing you put in the mouth of your nalgene bottle so when you are driving and drinking out of it you do not spill all over yourself, car air fresheners, new hair straightener that works mighty good!, umm and just cute little things in my stocking. If I missd anything, I'll add it on later. But I am in love with my straightener, phone, and gift cert., OBViousLY!
But yeah, after being woken up by my parents at about 730 am, we all went into the livingroom, did the presents deal, then my Dad left for work. Normal tradition, Father always leaves and goes to work. Then my Grandparents come by, we get our cards and money from them, then my Mom and I cook the hot artichoke dip and get everything ready for my aunts. Then headed over there around 130, spent a good amount of the afternoon there, left about 430. Came home to my Dad, Sister, Bro-in-law, and baby niece Haley Jane. Got to hold her for a bit, then they left not much long after we got home. Played with presents for a bit, then went out and watched some of Hair with my Mom. After she fell asleep a few times, finally got her to go to bed, and now Im laying in bed...exhausted.
Although it doesn't seem like a long day, it was. But it was a good one...filled with funny ass family...and lots of food!
Im hoping that everyone else had a great Christmas, and have a SAFE New Years....PLEASE!
