So I'm slowly learning to cook. After eating eggs every morning for the past 2 months, I've a trained hand at fliping an omelet. And yesterday I engineered some mighty fine Creamy Hashbrown casserole. Which ups my tally of homemade dishes to umm... 4. Fear me.

Pool tables are hard to come by. The cheepest appear to be $400 plus $200 S&H. Maybe if I check into estate sales around the area.

My vehicle situation is only getting more desperate as Force Majures (Acts of God) keep befalling the poor thing. The latest was fucking tennisball sized hail. Not only is every panel beat to shit, but the convertable top has about a dozen or so holes in it now. Seriously, I think it's totaled. And a new car note is like the last thing I want to deal with. Good news is I think I can get my old '67 Cougar XR7 back. It's currently residing in an antiques museum somewhere in middle Lousiana. Insurance proceeds should cover the cost of a tune-up (God that car was a bitch to work on) and a cd-player.

As someone who has mostly used pirated software (Props to dorm life), I'm stunned at how expensive software is. Found some spiffy cd-burning program. Allows you to cut and splice songs, has a snazzy crossfader. $80. I can eat for several weeks on $80.
