So, I saw the Captain America movie, because it's a superhero movie set in the 40's and that's awesome that transcends my OCD brand loyalty. And... DC, I'm sorry, I will always love you best, but I think I need to start seeing other people.
Because oh my gosh I love that man. To be fair, I love him for all the same reasons I love Superman, all big and sweet and so sincere in his idealism, but--well, sometimes people don't write Superman right. Like in the last movie where he was stalking Lois with his hearing and trying to get her to cheat on her fiancée, the man who had stepped up to act as the father of the child that Superman himself fathered out of wedlock. So, it can't hurt to have a back-up when I need a virtuous!hero fix.
