I have this really annoying, evil zit right in the spot on my forehead that I usually lean against my desk when I'm napping. It sucks beyond all reason and is seriously affecting my ability to go about my daily routine.
Also, look, Sirius doodles:
Yet another in a long line of efforts to pin down how I draw Sirius. Specifically focusing on hair this time, because I have a number of different ways I draw it and somewhere in the back of my head is the assumption that different styles are somehow attached to different ages, but there's no coherency to it. There will almost certainly continue to be no coherency to it (because I can never manage to like my own ideas for more than a few months in a row) but the idea as presented here is to attach the various hairstyles to specific ages, so that they can all be part of my Sirius canon.
See, we start out with Sirius (age 8) under his parents' thumb and done up all Victorian-esque, and he slowly grows his hair out (age 12) eventually into a movie!Lucius style ponytail (age 15) because I like aristocratic ponytails. Then he leaves home and cuts it off as rebellion, and also wears alot of eye-liner (age 17) because it's very important to my continued ability to cope with the world that Sirius wore eye-liner at some point.
Theoretically, there ought to be a second page detailing his hair post-Hogwarts, up through and after Azkaban. But I will probably forget about it.
Edit: Or not!
Here it is.
