*squees like a 14-year old*

They added a movie-verse Clark to DCfic_index! I now have a specific place to go stalk check for movie fic instead of trying to simultaneously monitor everyone I've seen mention the movie! Oh, I am so relieved. Now I can actually go draw or something, because the great index will be watching things for me ( Read more... )

Who's your favorite Clark? George, Chris, Dean, Tom, or the new guy? Probably the new guy, eh?

Yeah, mostly the new guy. I liked Chris alot though; one of the best things about Brandon is how much he looks like Chris. Tom annoys me and doesn't even mesh with Superman in my mind, to the point where I barely even count him. And George was kind of old, and Dean had this sort of nasally voice that was okay for Clark but didn't work well for Superman.

But my very favorite was the one from the 90's cartoons, which was the first version I was ever particularly interested in. Best cartoon ever.

I agree about Tom, the casting was all wrong. Oh well. He's the main reason I stopped watching Smallville. Clark and Lana. The writers didn't really do anything with those two characters, and Clark's the main character!

I think I saw one or two episodes of that. I don't think I liked it much, but it's good that someone did.

It wasn't just Tom, but how they wrote him too. What kind of teenage boy is that obsessed with who he;s going to spend the rest of him life with? Seriously? And he was whiny and dramatic and... yeah, But Tom didn't help. And Lana was just... there are no words.

Really? I loved it even before I was into Superman; it had such a good mix of funny dialog, relatively complex characters, and... well, the plots were kind of crazy sometimes, but it was based on a comic, so you have to expect some of that. I looked forward to it every day after school and was heartbroken when they took it off. Stupid Pokemon and Yugi-o took over everything.

omg, are these drawing idea requests also including the movie? because a drawing of happy relaxed polyamorous snuggles, maybe involving a couch, would basically make me the happiest person alive.

Oh, NOW I see your request! Yay! That does mean more Superman art from you coming our way then!

As for requests from others ... hmm. Well, a while ago I made one that might have been lost, so I'll re-suggest, if that's okay!

It was of Superman, with Batman, and either in the Fortress or the Barn on the Kent farm, perhaps with Krypto nearby. Not necessarily slashy - a friendship or adventure or 'sweet' scene would all be very cool!

And I also know what you mean about being obsessed with Superman Returns. I hope to go see it again today with my sister while I'm up visiting in my hometown this weekend. I never write reviews for films and yet I found myself writing a nearly 7 page one for SR! I couldn't help myself! ;-)
