Anyway, for those of you who adore Renaissance Yoshida, as I do, you might enjoy this little tidbit. It's a translation of the introduction to Yoshida's Polaris. The publisher has it up as a free sample (or at least part of it), so I've translated it. You can download the script in a Word document below. The URL for the Prologue is at the top of the document.
Please forgive the roughness of the translation. Yoshida's Japanese is way over my head. I've come to appreciate the commenter who said that Songs of Self Abuse was more a graphic novel than a manga. It's as if Yoshida really wanted to write a novel, with all of the blocks of text. *sigh* Well, I did the best I could, and I'm sharing it with you, so try not to be too hard on me.
