Positive Change 45--Don't Give Up No Matter What

1. 3 gratitudes--list three new things that you're grateful for each day.
2. Journaling--write about one positive thing that happened in the past 24 hours each day
3. Exercise
4. Meditation--teaches you to focus on the task at hand, to be in the now
5. Random acts of kindness--perform one each day (I think he said first thing, and he gave an example of sending an e-mail praising a colleague, but I guess in your personal life, you can be more creative than

Hello everyone! I'm sorry to you and to me for having not made a positive change post in so long. I truly believe in their effectiveness. And it's not that I've been choosing gloom the whole time. I've actually been working on a new practice that supports the positive change one a whole lot. Yay! I'll post about it some time. But for now, I really need to do this!

3 gratitudes
1. I'm grateful for Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I love that stuff.
2. I'm grateful for opportunities to make things right.
3. I'm grateful for my beautiful, healthy daughter.

Something good happened: a new friend wrote me an e-mail, and in it she said the title of this post: "Keep it up, and don't give up no matter what." Isn't that a really rousing motto? For someone who reads manga a lot, it really has a beautiful ring, besides being encouragement that all of us can use.

Not sure what my random act of kindness will be. I could give a slice of chocolate cake to my husband whom I'll see later, but that might be a bad choice...I will give a dog biscuit to Muppet the Therapy Dog, but I do that just as much for myself as for Muppet. She's so adorable.

Ahhh life is so good, isn't it? Blessings everyone.
