The rain and wind here is fierce. And the house doesn't help...it's super noisy. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes it's too much. When we are upstairs it pounds on the skylights... when we are downstairs we can hear it on the plants, decking, eaves, etc.
We have started the slow process of having our fruit crate labels framed for the dining room. When we can afford it, we will do one a month. For some reason, I don't have pics of those yet.
Anyway, some photos from around the new place. More to come soon.
Living room, complete with kitties!
Those green things? Slankets. The nicer version of the Snuggie. As much fun as people make of them, there is nothing nicer than watching a movie on a rainy afternoon under one of those in a comfy chair with a kitty cat on you. And yes, the sleeves do make a huge difference. John and his Grandparents both bought me one for Christmas. And I am glad, because this means that john has one too.
View from dining room window.
Kitchen stuff.
Guest bathroom.
Dining room table.
More pics to come after we clean/move a few things.
We moved my desk upstairs. I have a better view now. I would like to write at the desk, but my laptop just has microsoft works, not word. And I don't want to buy or pirate it, either. Maybe I should just stop bitching and use works.
In other news, we have Kaiser now. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this is for us. And my new MD is pretty good.
I am working on some artwork to sell so I can afford a few more small things for the house. Like a print to put over the fireplace. I already have money saved up for Johns birthday present, which is a new art table. The store is waiting to get more in, though.
Maybe I will call them today and rattle their cage.
