I took an exam yesterday that requires a 70 percent to pass and advance to the second part of the class. I got 97%. Yay me. I sure am glad it's the weekend, though.
One of the students from a previous class hurt one of my classmates during a draw. She put the needle in and THEN decided to search around for a vein. My classmate felt a little electric jolt. The nerve had been hit. She felt the same feeling going down her arm every few minutes after that. The instructor gave her an ice pack and had her sit with her arm extended for the rest of the lab time.
I like the idea of working for a lab site like Quest. They keep banker's hours. None of this working weekends and holidays bullshit.
We get to meet Pat and Shelby's new kitten today. Yay!
The rest of my pyramid molds came from UPS yesterday. Maybe I will make some more paperweights later on today.
We saw "Charlie Wilson's War" last night. There were some enjoyable parts.
