Remi's 3rd Birthday
October 3rd was Remi's 3rd birthday! And in keeping with tradition, I strapped a shiny hat to her little head and took lots of pictures. Enjoy!
This cake was not actually for Remi; Mom bought the cake as a belated birthday present to herself, lol (hers was on Oct 1st). Anyway, as you would expect, Remi took off running immediately after I snapped this photo. Her instinctive fear of fire is strong!
One moment the hat was just another glittery plaything, a new toy to mark her own. Then, suddenly and unexpectedly, it was on her head... I think her expression needs no explanation!
Really, the only good way for her to wear these hats is over one ear.
This picture was taken as she was attacking the cord on my camera (you know, the one that wraps around your wrist to keep the camera secure? Yeah).
But sometimes the hat finds its way atop her head and between her ears and stays there, and all is good. Love ya, Remi. <3
