Hello livejournal!

It's been a little while, I guess, huh? I've got a lot of things going on. I'm not sure if I'm a shift supervisor at work yet, but I think I'll pull through on that. Today I should be starting training in earnest, and Saturday should be my first day working as supervisor alone! Woo!

The past few days have been super fun, I was at James' house almost the entire time! I really can't get enough of being over there, with good friends, in a nice environment, where I feel like I don't have to impress anyone so god-damn much, and where I'm not the one in charge! Hallelujah! Call me crazy, but I really do envy the living situation he's got going on there, and if there's a thing I regret, it's not staying at home, or someone else's home, and gathering more stuff together before I moved out. I think that really hit me when I saw Cameron's stuff @_@ But hey! In a few more years, assuming the economy actually will bounce back, I'll be able to sell this house! Then I'll either sell it and make moneys to put into a new house, or try renting out the whole thing, getting a nice little apartment by myself, and let someone else pay my mortgage and utilities on this place =D Neat, huh? Hell, I might even end up doing that soon, if I can get it all fixed up.

Things that should be done for this house!
Re-build the garage
Re-build the balcony
Install sewer pump *easy-ish*
Remodel downstairs bathroom
Repair central air conditioning
Repair ductwork to use wood-burning stove for heat *easy*
Replace dishwasher *expensive, but easy*
Install washer/dryer *easy-ish*
Install drain for water heater
Fix door frame to downstairs *easy*
Install can light in hole in ceiling upstairs *easy-ish*
Re-pave the driveway
Put a fence up in the front yard *expensive, but easy*
Finish painting the backyard fence *expensive, but easy*

It's not that I don't love this house, I do, I really do. It's just that I'm a little overwhelmed by all the things I'm supposed to do to it! All without a substantial amount set aside for this purpose! The garage will likely cost $5,000, the balcony would probably cost $800-$900, the sewer pump is $275, The bathroom remodel would be around $1500, central air is expensive, and it might end up being that ductwork needs to be redone entirely which would make it a $3,000 event, A drain for the water heater would need its own pump, as well as the piping to take it away, so that'd be probably $100-$200, re-paving that driveway would probably cost $10,000-$12,000, putting up a fence in the front yard would be around $500-$600, to finish painting the backyard is another $100 at least, and to get a new dishwasher would be about $400.

For a grand total of $23,025! That's more than I make in a year! Holy crap! I never really worked that out @_@

Anyways! Kari'll be moving out soon, and Ferrett and Cherry will come take her place. So that worked out pretty smooth =] In other news, Cameron and I are getting to be better friends, which is fun. He's a lot more energetic than he seems @_@

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FOURTH?! I've got it off, Lexie has it off, James has it off, and, as far as I know, we're all at a loss as to what to do!

Shit, gotta run!
