New Blade Raver Info
I started the first couple of pages of Blade Raver, and I have to say, I'm actually interested in it enough to see it through. I haven't felt this way since I did Sonic comics back in the day. While there's no concrete story yet (as it's still in pilot stage), I'll give some of the character descriptions:
Hirashi Kuro - Kuro is one of the few remaining swordsman in the world, who is also known as the Blade Raver, for his own unique style of swordplay with his sword, Fate. After witnessing the death of his father, he searches the world for the God Stones, six stones with the power to control the elements of fire, water, earth, wind, light, and dark.
Allison Sierra - A girl with a mysterious past. Allison first meets Kuro when he saves her from some local thugs. She has an independent, loner attitude, but comes through when her friends are in danger. While she doesn't use any weapons, she possesses great speed and agility, which she uses to her advantage in a fight.
Shinji Hirokazu - A technical genius with excellent marksmanship. He uses his own specialized guns, Hikari and Yami, with bullets that track and lock-on to any target Shinji desires. The only person that has ever avoided his shots has been Kuro. Shinji decides to help Kuro out, swearing that he will invent a bullet one day that not even Kuro can dodge.
Ganryu Minamoto - A legendary swordsman known as the Crimson Edge, he is the one who killed the father of Hirashi Kuro. He is also searching for the God Stones, hoping to become God himself. There is no love lost between Kuro and Ganryu, who both have sworn to kill the other. One way or another, only one will walk away with the God Stones.
