No Funny Subject Title This Time
Tonight was a very sad night. Our neighbor's dog, Little Bit, was just put down half an hour ago. She slipped a disc in her spine, and the options were that either they keep her overnight and give her anti-inflammatory steroids, or euthanize her. It would have been more expensive to keep her overnight, and.... well, it was a hard decision.
It's very painful to go through this, especially since all three of us had to watch her be put down. But it's for the better, because it probably would have been worse to let her suffer in pain. At least now she's not hurting anymore.
Kendra and I aren't going to work tomorrow, because we want to be here in case Liddie needs us for any reason. She says that she doesn't want anyone, but that's probably her emotions now.
Even though I know that she couldn't talk, I could see in her eyes right before she died she told Liddie "I love you, mommy."
Sorry for such a depressing post. I'll make it up with the funnies later. But not now.
