never knew

Take my quiz.

P.S. Pretty please

P.P.S. I made a new friend yesterday at Salem. I so totally do not deserve them as a friend; and yet they said, "I'll be your friend." And I was like, "Awwwww T____T"

Yesterday, I was typing up Salem's weekly bulletin at church and was invited to Bible Study. So I went; and while I was there I met one of our newest members, Connie. She has this amazing heart, immeasurable kindness, and immense trust in God; all things that I tend to lack. I looked up to her from the second that I met her. After Bible Study, Pastor Rachel invited me to tag along with them to attend a revival service at a church a few blocks over; And so I said, "Sure!" It sounded like it would be a lot of fun.

During part of the revival service we had to get in groups of two and silently pray for each other's needs. Somehow Connie and I ended up in the same group. When she finished praying, she looked over at me and said, "God told me that you needed a friend. I'll be your friend." And it just touched my heart in ways I can't even describe. It was something I never outright asked God for but something I had always secretly wanted. Just someone, in a time where all of my friends are growing up and moving away, to hang out with and talk to. It was one of the sweetest things anyone's ever said to me.

So tonight, Pastor Rachel, Connie, and I are heading back over to attend the 3rd night of revival in Detroit. I can't wait to go. *-*
