you never think you'll lose someone until it happens....
i hadnt seen my dad in over two years...he lived in florida...
i hardly ever talked to him just cuz i hate phones and i just never really got around to calling him...
last time i talked to him was after (i think) thanksgiving..i know it was before i found out i was pregnant....
my mom, uncle, and grandma kept telling me to call him....i never got around to it...
last sunday (feb 24) i got a call from my frantic crying mom telling me my dad had came into town so he could surprise me on wednesday...
he had got there on saturday....
well he was trying to help my mom by putting up a tv antenna for her...
well he was holding this giant antenna and he looks up and the antenna hits the two main powerlines that pass above my moms house...
they said its like 25000 volts....
my dad got electricuted....
his heart stopped....
no oxygen could get to his brain...
when the paramedics came they got a pulse....
he was airlifted to a hospital in san antonio....
they said he may be brain dead....
but the day after they said they got signs of improvement..he wasnt braindead...
but the day after that he got a fever...of 110...
that killed his brain...
he was pronounced him braindead on wednesday...
we unplugged him on friday...
i wish i would have called him more...
i just hope when the baby comes and when i marry Z he will be able to see it...
be looking down on us...
life is so crazy...
shit happens everyday...
