we got the extended return of the king in the mail today. jamie's very excited but we won't get to watch it until sunday.
i have to say that after watching the extra stuff on both the fellowship and the 2 towers, i am really impressed with the hundreds and hundreds of people that worked so hard on the movie. there was so much care put into evry detail. there were 2 guys, for instance, who spent 2 years do almost nothing but linking chain mail together. they totally wore the fingerprints off of their fingers linking the chain mail for all the extras.that's dedication.
it makes me happy to think these people worked so hard and bonded and sacraficed for years and the products were 3 of the greatest movies ever made. return of the king, in my opinion, is absolutely the single greatest movie ever made.
