(no subject)
I suppose its been 2 weeks since I updated so I guess now would be a good time to add one.
I had my last congress tournament until after wrestling (or as Lilly has suggested I could happen to break my arm and miss a meet for congress). I'm not gonna lie, I'm really pissed off by this one. I went in feeling really confident in the material that I had, and I felt like it was one of my stronger speaking days. I was well prepared and I thought I was finally at a point where I could hold my own. But once again I couldn't get in on the last bill, which of course was my strongest speech. If I had got that speech in I would have broken and I would be fully qualified right now. The field was way to strong this week for me to get hardware but I would be qualed and I'd have that out of the way before wrestling started. Bah.
Musings:
At the risk of sounding like a Chuck Klosterman wannabe, despite what people may say The Breakfast Club really is a bad movie, and in fact does a signifcantly worse job of depicting teenagers than say, She's All That. I would also like to say that there's something brilliant about She's All That. Thoughts?
I'm getting fed up with the Revolution. One of these days they have to win, it just has to happen. SO WHY THE HELL DON'T THEY????
