While certainly effective against computer opponents, it's totally demoralizing to other human players. The psychological effect is great.

I almost never use my Ghosts effectively. When I play terran, I usually go with siege tanks + vultures + marines. And the usual counter-attack I get is to be pelted with nukes. My counter-strategy is usually to have several science vessesl with wraith wingmen to take care of cloaked ghosts. As you probably know, that strategy doesn't work that well. My only saving grace is that I usually get a bunch of siege tanks + marines built up to disrupt my opponents tech-climb. If I miss that window of disruption, I'm usually radioactive toast :)

marvthegrate has a tactic I've never been able to master as Terrans. He builds about a gross of wraiths, and mobs people with them. Very effective, but I can't make it work for me.
Another fun mob technique is the zergling landmass-- 7 or 8 dozen zerglings invading a base. Send in a small group of hydralisks to help counteract any air units, and watch the base dissolve.
*sigh* I haven't played StarCraft in a long, long time.

Hrm wraith and people. Never tried that. Sounds interesting.
Did I say vultures before? I meant SiegeTanks + Goliath + marines (it's been a little while for me too!). I've had good luck with that. The times I get bitten are usually when the opponent builds another base I somehow missed. Also I fall pray to battalions of marines a few times. Similar to landmass of zerglings except in human form.

I tend to stick with offensive use of siege tanks, with normal-mode tanks, goliath, and marines for support.
