Title: Fate Written on Your Hand
Genre: fluff, romance
Pairing: Juntoshi
Summary: They say that once you and your soulmate’s skin touch for the first time, magical things happen. Jun was almost done believing this silly story his mother told him until that fateful day.
A/N: First, I am correcting the number of chapters. Instead of 15, it is actually just 14. (I made chp 9 then chp 11 which is stupid, I know).
Also, have you seen the side story of this story? The title is also as bland as this one:
Our Fate is Already Written since Masaki has found his soulmate way ahead than Satoshi (shameless plug, I know). So, anyway, I won't bore you with my ramblings. Come on, come on and enjoy(?) *insert evil laugh*

CHAPTER 10:
“Wow, do you often go to that café?”
“You can say that.”
“It’s a good choice.”
Jun could not sleep the whole day. He went shopping in the afternoon to look for a perfect outfit. His soulmate is an artist so he might be scrutinized with his sense of color.
He stood in front of his mirror, trying to look for the perfect combination of pants and shirt. He settled with a lavender vest on top of a plain white button-up shirt and jeans. Jun was really nervous.
He looked at the personalized cup he got from his favorite café which was lying on the countertop. The appearance of the cup, its cute swirls and whatnot, made Jun tempted to make a cup of coffee but it wasn’t really a good idea since he was nervous to begin with and he had to actually buy coffee so that he would not be kicked out of the café.
“Welcome,” Ohno greeted as he entered the shop. There were few people inside the café: some students, middle-aged women gossiping, and businessmen having their own meetings. Jun tried to search for that person, his soulmate.
“Your order, Jun-san,” Ohno said, placing the cup on top of the table. The barista smiled nervously at him. Jun noticed that Ohno looked a little agitated.
“Thanks.”
“It’s the first time I saw you here in the evening,” the barista said as he held the tray against his chest.
“Ah, yes. I’m waiting for someone. Someone important,” Jun said with an awkward smile. He was really excited but he felt like he should not say these things to Ohno. He felt a bit upset as he looked at the barista’s eyes.
“A business meeting?”
“Uh, personal, I should say,” Jun replied, rubbing the back of his neck.
Ohno nodded with his mouth slightly open. There was a few seconds of silence that Ohno broke, fortunately. “I own a café but I don’t suggest binge coffee-drinking,” he reminded. He did not sound like Jun’s mother. It was more like a gentle reminder. “Anyway, good luck on your meeting, Jun-san.”
Jun thanked the barista as he left. Jun continued to wait inside the café, sitting on his favorite corner, his hands tapping the table in a mix of impatience and anxiety. In his anticipation, Jun always looked at the door when the bells chime and a new customer comes in.
“Excuse me,” he called out to Ohno after he came to take away the fifth used cup.
“Yes?”
“Until what time are you open?”
Ohno looked up a bit. “Well, it’s a weekend so we are only open until 11 PM.”
“Can I wait a little bit longer?” Jun asked, a little bit desperate. It was already fifteen minutes before 11 PM and there was no sign of his soulmate arriving.
Ohno’s lips somehow pursed into a thin line before he replied. “Well…” he started. “A few more minutes won’t hurt,” he said with a shrug.
Jun sighed in relief.
“But Jun-san,” Ohno said as he placed the cup in the washer. “I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to wait if that person doesn’t plan to meet you.”
Jun was quiet. He wanted to shout at Ohno for being so tactless in this kind of situation. But he looked at his blank forearm.
“What if Satoshi does not come?” he thought, disappointed.
Jun grabbed a pen on his bag and started writing to his soulmate.
“Satoshi, I’m still here, waiting for you. Please…”
