The Concert
The Concert was AMAZING! it took us (Me, Sara, Stacy) about 3-3.5 hours to get the cuz of stops. We found bricktown easily and parked in a garage which cost $5 and was the cheepest parking around. Then we went looking for a bathroom and ended up in this nook of a coffe shop kinda like the perk just more like cool. So we had some coffe there and then went to wait in line for the concert. We waited for like 45 min. There were these two guys in front of us. They were both from Garden City KS but one was an exchange student from West Germany. They went in right before us and came back out and said we were in the wrong place! we had to go around the block. When we finally got around to the actually concert it was 30min til the show started and we were in the back of a 2.5 block line ;.; Luckily the line started moving faster the closer we got. We made it in as the concert was starting. We squeezed in pretty close to the stage and the first band "The Academy Is" came on and they ROCKED!!! They played about 45min. Then there was a 15 min intermission to set up for the next band. "Rooney" was Friggin SWeeeeeT!!! The first song they played was a cover for "Blue Side" and was a awesome. The crowd during the opening bands sucked so me sara and stacy we the only ones dancing and putting our hands in the air because of this the lead singer of rooney came to our side of the stage looked at us and mouthed "You Guys ROCK" XD I almost died. so they played for about 45min and there was a 25min intermission just to get us fans rhiled up for the All American Rejects. When they came on stage we went WiLd!!! They sang like every song on their new album. We were on the side that Nick the guitarist was mainly on he was HOT he played his guitar like it was a 2nd penis to him all 3 of us thought it was great. Then Tyson the lead singer came over to our side of the stage and sang to us and it was so awesome. Then when they had left the stage they had not played our favoritew song which starts with a certain clap. So the 3 of us started doing the clap and kept on and eventually all like 300-400 people at the show were doing the clap and it got faster and faster and faster and then finally they came back on stage and sang a special version of the song just for us XDDDD It was so awesome that just the 3 of us could start something that big. The concert anded and I couldn't walk, talk, breath, hear, or swallow... and I Loved it! but we got to the car and drove to the nearest gas station where we picked up water and tea to rehydrate us for the drive home. We got lost getting out of OK City so we were set and hour late to get home. But eventually we got on the right highway. Sara was tired so we hit a gas station and filled up and stacy got a pop and drove the rest of the way home. Stacy and I listened to the All American Rejects CD 2-3 times on the way home just reliving and talking about the concert. We got back into town about 2:30-3am and were in bed about 3:15. Now it is thanksgiving so I am going to go home and spend it with my sister, my mom is in kingman, and I want to say that I am thankful to have each and every one of you as my friends ;)
