Ode to Tumblr

Am currently experimenting with my latest discovery, Tumblr. I even have my own Tumblr, though I'm still trying to figure out themes and coding. So far, I'm loving it! Blogging is so easy on Tumblr--I simply type up the entries and upload the pics right onto their server. I don't need to mess with any third-party pic-hosting sites, unlike with LJ *cough*photobucket*cough* lol. Not to mention, I can post and share pictures, videos, and whatnot straight from my iPhone! I cannot express how great that is, since I'm always carrying my iPhone and snapping pics and thinking, "Gee, I'd really like to blog about this on LJ... but I need to get to a computer first. Oh, and then I need to upload these pics onto photobucket. Oh, and how do I code for an LJ-cut again?" xD With Tumblr, I can access my "Tumblog" from an app on my iPhone, allowing me to blog, link, and upload media to my heart's content.

Yes, I am aware that there is an LJ iPhone app, as well. I have it on my phone...and it sucks. :P lol. No, but in a serious note, the app itself hasn't been updated in months (years?). I can't upload pics unless I have a paid account, which would then give me access to their "scrapbook." And, I can't view friends' entries on the app. Tumblr app gives me all these options (for FREE to boot!), and more. :)

Tumblr is incredibly convenient and user-friendly, and takes blogging down to my level (yes, the lazy-bum-blogger level, lmao). Love it!

Sorry, LJ. You know I love you, but... I think I may have found the one. ♥
