eh, stuff...
Am much happy that Parma stayed its course and bypassed us. Am much happy that people in the northern provinces took precautions although it's sad that the storm still claimed about three lives there.
On a side note, I wish I was a student again so I can have time to join my college org in volunteering for relief operations for flood victims. But I managed to put together extra clothes, blankets and food to give to the Red Cross (to be coursed through our Bank's donation drive). Here's to hoping my sis-in-law wakes up early tomorrow so she can drive me to work. Lugging all that stuff in an MRT morning rush will make me less inclined to be merciful to my fellow commuters. ^_^U
On a side note, why do people post these gruesome accident videos in facebook? Even if I won't click them because of the warnings in the post text, I still do not want to see their screencap/links in my FB homepage. Please be privately sharing those things with your like-minded friends and not with everyone who you're not sure shares your tastes in tragedy.
It has come to a point that I actually blocked someone's posts from appearing in my facebook newsfeeds because he puts up links to those things.
Yay for choices. Boo for some people.
