I really shouldn't look at magazines like Nintendo Power when I'm broke.
Together on the same page in the magazine, and being released on the same date, October 9th: Bleach: Shattered Blade and Bleach: The Blade of Fate.
Well, I already know that I'm addicted to Blade of Fate because merchan kindly let me play her DS (... a lot ^^) in Seattle. And I know that I want to play Shattered Blade because not only is it a Wii fighting game (should be so much fun!), but I just *have* to have Urahara vs. Aizen. *grin* I'm such a geek. Not to mention that it seemed like the Japanese voice actors had a total blast playing it! I'll be renting Shattered Blade first because I want to see if there is a Japanese voice option. (I hate to think of playing the game with the English voice actor's shouting. *shudder*) As for Blade of Fate, I'd have to buy a DS before I can even think of playing the game, of course.
I read in NP that there is a limited edition DS coming out with Brain Age 2 -
red and black! Very spiffy. Brain Age is a very smart game that tests you with simple skills that sharpen your mind. One of the people at work said that it's really made a difference for her. Interesting!
(Fun tid-bit! According to IGN: "The full Japanese title, by the way, is one of the longest game titles on record: 'Touhoku Daigaku Mirai Kagaku Gijutsu Kyodou Kenkyuu Center Kawashima Ryuta Kyoujuu Kanhuu Motto Nou wo Kitaeru Otona no DS Training'". Is that a viable sentence even in Japanese? Their short translation is: "More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?")
So, the spiffy dual colour DS plus the Brain Age 2 could be mine for a mere 160$! ...Oh, well. I think I will make this something to look forward to. Once I get back to a good financial position I'll see if I can't buy a DS then.
Quick pet-peeve. Why do people call and not leave a message on the machine? If they don't leave a message I can't call them back...
