Daylight savings time

This morning I am  experiencing my annual annoyance at the time change. I am a hypocrite, I know, I do not mind the fall change as we gain an hour of sleep. I only mind spring when we loose an hour of sleep, and then we struggle to adjust by either going to bed early or not getting enough sleep for a few days. This year it ,crashed into me suddenly. I have been occupied by a class I have been taking since January, in computer repair, it is 5 nights a week, 3 hours a night, and a chapter a week. We have a chapter test every Monday, so I have been constantly reading and studying, it is like a crash course in a foreign language. Then my mother had knee surgery on Feb. 28th. She lives 20+ miles away and is 82. She has a large group of friends there and there hasn't been a day that someone doesn't go to visit her. I can only go three days a week due primarily to this class I'm taking. Then suddenly the time is changing!
The last two days though, I have been also distracted by the terrible events occurring in Japan and the unusual events on my own coast. The much worse tragedy that is Japan right now, cannot compare to the behavior of the ocean on the coast. Non the less it was quite startling,  to see the ocean rushing in and out like a river, it surged every 20 minutes and boats were being tossed around like leaves. We were fortunate, it could have been much worse. Today the only thing we can do for Japan is pray they can get control of those nuclear reactors, send volunteers to help, and send financial support in what ever amount we can afford. It will not be enough, but the whole world will send something.
I must stop now and go study, as distracted as I will be, there is a test on Monday.
