I thought this was pretty damn funny but I also know I have a few select friends that would act the same as my military ones. So yeah it pretty much looks like Afghanistan is the next stop for my unit next year because anyone who has never been deployed or mobilized is definitely getting deployed by February/March. We'll know soon enough but then again nothing is ever set in stone. Commander had a little pep talk with the unit today and a lot of the things that were said were pretty much flat out saying, "Guys we're going to Afghanistan as a Civil Affairs Patrol, get yourselves in the right mindset and prepare to do what you signed up for. Because it's time for the real fucking thing and get your head right." But like I said up there in bold and italics, we won't know till just about next year around that time. I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.
