To everyone, there are different clothes that suit them

In proof that I am a sap, I got totally drawn into the hoary plot of this Lee Hyori video. My tear ducts even drippy-dropped a little. (Is literally a cell-phone commercial, for Samsung.)

Sorry for spamming your k-pop posts, but...

Hyori is a good non-fictional story as well.

She's suffered professional setbacks - the latest one this year when half of her album H-Logic turned out to be plagiarized- The offender was songwriter Bahnus, working with the company. Hyori ended up stopping all promotional activities (but luckily the lead single was not affected (and co-written by her)).
The last news tidbit is that she's quit her record label, and is starting her own company.

Candid behind the scenes documentary from when she was making her 2008 album is recommended. "Now that I don't drink everyday anymore I'm even more lonely". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R49jZhBBvxM

I wonder if it would be big deal for Rihanna's fans if, say, half an album's melodies, not by her, turned out to be plagiarized. This experiment has never been run, so I have no good idea, but my guess is that this wouldn't hurt her among her fanbase but might hurt in the larger market. And she might take it hard herself. From the scraps I've read, I'm guessing that Hyori herself took this hard.

I've so far only watched the first six minutes of her reality show. She seems a lot older - in a good way - than she does in "Anystar," older than the two years' difference. Hard to say why I think so; is a combination of the gruffer-than-I-was-expecting sound in her larynx, and a self-awareness and wariness. (Though if I had cameras on me everywhere including in front of my sink and mirror, I'd be self-conscious too.)

Self-awareness, yes. Constantly self-mocking, here and in other shows. In later episodes she's at the doctor for a regular breast check-up, and she shows us an x-ray of her breasts with added commentary to dispel rumours that she's enlarged hers. She also meets a doctor at a ball game and gets him to feel her face to prove that she hasn't done any surgery to her face. A funny woman.
