fun times
Music: The new Indigo Girls CD...it's so great
So I just love my life at this moment. I am at the climatic end of the latest Harry Potter book, I just bought the new Janet CD and Indigo Girls CD, I have a book of slam poetry on order at Borders and the fun gift I got for my friend Nic's birthday finally came in from Ebay. Plus I went grocery shopping and bought all sorts of good food...fruits and veggies and lunch meat and fancy European lemon cookies to have with tea. I learned years ago to focus on the tiny good things in your life, and the big bad things don't matter as much.
Ryan's journal also makes me happy...I am going to miss working with him, he always made Sunday mornings fun. I need to ask him how to put pictures and icons on my journal...I am such a non-tech person. Hopefully that will change in grad school. If I get into grad school...The acceptance letters should be here within a couple weeks, and I am one nervous redhead.
I am taking myself to D.C. this weekend...I'm excited and a little nervous, because I've never driven there by myself, but if I am going to move to NYC all on my own, then the nation's capital should'nt pose too much of a problem.
