A Ray of Light

Sneering faces

Surrounding me

My eyes are blacking out

Disgusted glances

Battering me

My walls are wearing out

Barbed words

Brand so deep

My heart is bleeding out

Brutal blows

Breaking through

My light is blowing out

A light breaches the darkness

A shining hand of hope

My light may not go out

Gentle arms inside the rays

Helping me go forth

My light is getting stronger

A voice within the aurora

Whispering healing words

My heart is growing stronger

A steady frame facing the shadows

Shielding me from harm

My walls are shaping stronger

A smile enclosed by warmth

Igniting my blown out smile

My eyes are blazing stronger
