Charlie and the Chocolate factory
Burton and Depp just works SO well together lordy.
Willy Wonka is actually the happiest movie i've seen! lol
I just adore Burton's colours and styles, as always. That man is a genius, he just never stop amazing me!!!! I just love Burton's work so much.
And meh Johnny! Speechless X_X How can that man be so talented. I'm so glad he takes on weird roles like these, i don't think anyone else can do it. I love Johnny's approach of Wonka. At first, I thought his teeth is just too freaky but it just adds on to Johnny's Wonka so well. I think its another of those Jack Sparrow!roles, where people walks in feeling wonky and comes back out totally loving his way with the character. DAMMIT! BURTON + JOHNNY!=OTP!!
I was surprise of how different it is from the original one O_o
There were a few things that i didnt quite like in this version...Wonka didn't really warn the kids on wht not to do on this one D:
I liked the origional one how Wonka specifically said "never do this, never do that" but the rotten kids still does it. But this one, Wonka just kinda let them be...(WEll, yes, Wonka was approached in a total different way tho, so maybe thats why.) The ending was different too...
OMG the Oompa Loompas!!!!!! They were 3 size smaller than classic ones!! LOL
Their songs were so damn catchy..addictive. again. But nothing like the classic OOMPA LOOMPA, DOOMPADAH DEE
IF YOU ARE WISE YOU'LL LISTEN ME thing. Totally different, but still brilliant.
I was confuse on one thing though...When Charlie's grandpa gave Charlie a coin to buy a Wonka bar, and Charlie actually got the bar with just a coin. Then later, Charlie pays a WHOLE TEN BUCKS for one, WTF HOW MUCH DOES IT ACTUALLY COST??
But overall, the movie was AMAZING. It was too cute and beautiful. :) Really made me all happy and CHOCOLATEY!!!
