Okay weekend

Well this weekend had a slow start, a pep band game on friday and work saturday morning... Then things got fun. Got to go to Steffi's party which was sweet. I suck at lazer tag but still had a blast. Partied at her house and it was sweet, despite the... disruption I had.... anyways, sunday was boring, couldnt do anything, hw and cooking, fun

In the kitchen there was a toaster,
Seated by it there was a cat.
These were my only friends,
Aside from the markers
Which colored the lights
Seen in so many cartoons.

I was so very fond of the cartoons,
Especially the ones with injuries caused by toasters.
The characters would be electrocuted, causing you to see pretty lights.
And then there was the cat,
Trying to eat my markers again.
I needed some new friends.

I went on a search for these friends
Who loved cartoons,
And owned plenty of markers.
I hoped they would own a nice toaster,
And also held a fondness for cats.
I searched in the big city with all the lights.

I thought that they were pretty, the lights,
And so did my new friends.
They owned a cat.
And I supplied the toaster.
On weekends we watched cartoons,
And made pretty pictures with the markers.

Later they stole my markers
And took down the Christmas lights.
They broke my toaster.
They were not true friends.
So my new friends became the cartoons,
And my same old cat.

I began to better appreciate the cat,
Even though he still tried to eat my markers.
Everyday with me he watched cartoons,
And we stared at my new sparkling Christmas lights.
Again we were true friends,
And he took back his rightful place by the toaster.

And so, my toaster and my cat
Were friends with me and grew still fonder of the markers
Which colored the lights for our own cartoons.
