Oh dear, we will have to have to discussions.trickykittyFebruary 8 2006, 07:50:07 UTC
I will have more later for sure. I'll throw out what ideas I have as they pop into my head, but we'll need to get together and work out the logistics of it.
Help the boys market their new company and monitor stocks for it, charging a nice commission, but they know their getting the best broker they could find.
A lot depends on if Kiera gets contacted again by Serendipity and how that conversation goes. Kiera's still more or less a baby when it comes to AI and could use "training" and ability enhancements. So far she has much respect for Ser and, unless proven differently, she will want to gain as much knowledge from her as possible starting with, "How in the world did you get all of this anyway?"
She would love to start getting contacts regarding shell production. If nothing else, she'll need a handy mechanic if anything goes wrong. She'll consider creating her own shell production company (or other related product) as a silent majority partner depending on how much knowledge she gains in the two year time. In a far future (after the next campaign) she may come forward as the CEO and lead AI's toward realizing their full potential as a race utilizing her skill to sway the masses. {I know, I'm dreaming too far ahead, but oh well.}
Kiera needs a damn good and highly trustworthy shrink. She's moved beyond Clash being her go-to boy for AI feel-good support, but he's still very useful for other things. (Kiera: "where is that boy anyway?") Her number one issue is being able to maintain her human roots. By researching all the above mentioned stuff, she realizes that she risks loosing all of her humanity. I'd say that the shrink recommends she begin helping the other AI's as part of maintaining her humanity.
As such, she begins trying to locate other AI's and making contacts, perhaps providing security for them at times. She's suddenly thirsty for information regarding growth for both herself and the other AI's. I would imagine many of them want to learn and understand more about feelings and such, and in that respect she can also provide information, maybe take on the role of "mom" to some of them. She might start making quite a name for herself in the AI community this way, especially as it becomes more and more known that she's a hybrid (the first?). She knows the more public that knowledge becomes, the more of a threat to certain others she will also become.
If we don't get to it in-game, she will want to reach Mark Zero and discuss what he knows about being cloned and his abilities, etc.
Her family is practically gone (or will be by the end of all this), so she's allowing the other AI's to become her new family, and the role she plays in that will maintain/determine her level of humanity, hopefully keeping it close to the 50% mark like it is now.
Oh, and did I mention tachikomas/fuchikomas????
And a pet scritcher? (I think that's what the razor minx was called)
And a spider colony with swarm technology and a bit more than just communication abilities?

Kiera will want to look into the work of Dr. Light and the whole "how/why I was created". Sort of get to know her roots, especially if he's the one person that seemed to care (correctly) for her well-being.
I guess this would perhaps include getting to know Ruth better. She feels much sympathy for her loosing someone that I'm sure was like a father to her.
