You have mail at the Heath account on this very subject.
I have stated my preferences (CyberPunk) NC is more than ok but I would prefer a new venue like Keisei.
If I play a new character I wish the concept, whatever era or genre, to be between me and you.
I have several ideas for differing periods, would you like them?

Yes, I want your ideas.
I want everyone's ideas.
I want to know the kind of things that make my players sit up and take notice.

What makes me sit up and take notice. mr_rubix February 6 2006, 19:16:34 UTC
Any game situation that tweaks something from my character's background, honestly. You have already shown that you are perfectly capable of doing that, example of the Trinity facility and Jared, so I have no doubt it will continue.

I love the idea of either the CP2020 world or, as trickykitty pointed out in her recent post, something that is a hybrid of CP2020 and a more futuristic environment. Adventure! already gives me my fill of Pulp goodness so the more technologically advanced games are a treat ( ... )

Right now I'm playing with about four different campaign ideas.
Two deal with continueing the current campaign, but in differing directions, and two deal with completely different campaign ideas.

What I'm looking for are the kind of things in books, movies, etc. that have given you inspiration in the past. What I like to do is to take my players' favored tastes and to mix and distill it into something familiar, fun, and yet forces the players to look at their favorite flavors in a new light.

*blink* I'm a tad confused, I thought we'd settled this on Sat, and the consensus seemed to be to continue on with whatever characters survived the NC debacle to go elsewhere ( ... )

If you are wondering what I'm up to...I'm trying to get a taste meme going in my mind so that I can shamelessly pander to my groups' interests. The fun part for me is blending all the varying ideas into a cohesive whole, but still leaving room for my trademark plot twists and misdirects.

I have four distinctly different Cyberpunk settings that I wrote up. Only two have seen play, though I don't think I would wish 'A Neurohard Future' on anyone.

You would not happen to have... mr_rubix February 6 2006, 20:09:54 UTC
A version of your life paths and such for CP2020 character creation in an emailable format, would you? Because I have been reading through the ones from the main book but thought I remembered hearing that you had your own versions that you used.

I don't have an e-version of those docs yet. You are welcome to come by and peruse them, or borrow them some time.

Fair enough. mr_rubix February 6 2006, 20:26:29 UTC
I will remain in touch - I want to give them a look and maybe throw together a backup character that is tumbling around in my head in case Jared in not available for the next game. :)

I'm happy to sit down to cuss and discuss any options you want to look at.

A near future (for the characters) campaign would be quite enjoyable. Despite the abuse I lump upon him I do enjoy Brian. I do like the mystery/investigation part, so some of that would be nice to see again. Besides, it'd be nice to see how the world turns out.

Hmm, Keisei . . . well, it is only twenty minutes from Night City and there's probably a PK or two there. Wonder how an infiltration expert would work out there?
