For all ceremonial purposes, my last day of work was yesterday. It was extremely boring because I just sat around. I started cleaning my cubicle out, and for some reason I got a little sad. Not really sad I guess...I don't know what it was.
On a side note, I'm doing a half ass job cleaning out my desk because the one person in the entire office who I cannot stand is taking my desk. I figure if he wants it so badly, he can finish up cleaning. Merry Christmas, Bitch.
I'm getting really excited for school. I've applied for a couple of assistantships already and I fully intend on applying for some more today. I'm actually heading down to Champaign on Sunday-Monday to meet with some departments and have lunch with my advisor. I don't have any interviews scheduled yet, but I'm hoping to have some soon. Oh that reminds me, I want to get my suit dry-cleaned and possibly tailored. Yes.
On tuesday of next week I guess I'm going to start the packing/going through my shit/downsizing process. How terribly exciting!
Oh and on Sunday of last week I saw Lily Allen in concert. She puts on a fun show but she was pretty intoxicated towards the end. It got to the point where she just held a redcup the entire time she was singing. Pretty funny. I heard redcups.
That's all I got. I need to shower and start my day.
