Letter to Seamus Zelazny Harper.

Mr. Harper,

In light of our recent experiences with the Magog I feel the need to reassess my view of you. You're not a useless, whining creature as I once believed you to be. I imagine that it is merely your background--poor food and ill health--that makes you so scrawny. Perhaps these disadvantages have forced you to make something more of yourself. Something more than adding a dataport that will enhance your abilities as an engineer. I do admit that you are competent enough in that regard.

I have discovered that you also have a fierce survival instinct, one that I find myself unable to ignore. You do not have Nietzschean strength as I do and so must continue to carry the filthy Magog larvae within you even as I need not. I can only guess that it is association with Captain Hunt and the rest of his insane crew but I imagine that you will manage to survive this ordeal. Considering the ridiculous nature of our escape from the Magog World Ship I can see this managing to right itself--Dylan's foolish hope refuses to be purged from me as easily as the eggs from my system.

For some insane reason, I believe you will also live to fight another day, Mr. Harper.
