Life photo update!!!
I picked up snowboarding at the start of the season to prepare for a big family trip to Le Massif in Québec. By the end of it, I was good enough to keep up with my sis and cousin on the black diamonds :D
My cousin also has an adorably sweet dog named Sally. I've always been a cat person, but ever since Ashwin said he likes dogs I've been keeping my mind open. That and I'm pretty allergic to cats ;_;
Been busy baking too. Feast your eyes on my cupcakes! Made some apple cider ones from the vegan cupcake recipe book and topped them off with vanilla butter cream frosting with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar.
And cinnamon buns v2.1; still a work in progress.
I'm intolerant to sweet yams (among many other things) and thus miss out on their tastiness. But I recently discovered that my local Food Basics brought in some purple yams! Very similar and just as sweet :D So I decided to celebrate by making something out of them. All winter long I've wanted to try a make a soup, and of course right at the tail end of it, I decided to give it a try. I picked a roasted sweet potato soup recipe. Minus the carrots and onions it was pretty Bonnie-tolerant :)
Don't be fooled by your eyes; this may look like mush, but it was super tasty mush!
