So I come home from work today to find my landlord's landlord (it's messed up) inside my place on the phone with someone. Wow, that sucks big time! I can understand your desire to move out. I would be out of there too a.s.a.p. if I were being treated like that. What makes it worse is that she did it fully knowing what she was doing. That's just wrong and it's completely unfair to you. Not having a door is not something to be taken lightly when you're a tenant in a space and not living with friends.

Good luck with apartment hunting when you start looking. I hope it's a smooth process!

That's quite unfortunate. And also slightly crazy. I'd certainly be moving out pronto in such a situation.

As it happens, a couple friends of mine are looking for a roommate. (If they don't find one they will have to give notice by the end of the month and then end up moving out, which they'd rather not do.) Don't know if you'd be interested or not, but it can't hurt to mention it. They're in a 3 bedroom apartment in a building just across the street from Fairview mall. (125 Parkway Forest.) If you're interested or want more information let me know and I can fill you in or put you in touch with them or something.

I have to stay near Yonge st to catch my GO bus to work to avoid having to pay for a TTC metropass as well as a GO monthly pass. But thanks for letting me know :3
