I may not be using this journal, but I'm not dead; it's still mine. Just because a thing is finished doesn't mean that it's unwanted or unvisited.
As for the other―the one you destroyed by deleting everything―I hope you're quite satisfied with having done something horrible to another person because you wanted their LiveJournal username to yourself. That's very mature. Would you have done that to a "real" journal? One that didn't belong to you, from somebody's childhood, or some other precious time in their life?
What would your mum say about that? I'm sure she'd be disappointed in you.
