FLCL

I mentioned before that I really, really like the anime series, FLCL, or Fooly Cooly (it's also called Furi Kuri).

I never mentioned why.

I love (LOVE!!) Fooly Cooly because it's so weird. Simply, tremendously weird. It's about this boy, Naota, who finds out that it's okay to be a kid, that you can be yourself- growing up is for later. I love this message, and unlike those other corny "love you for you" things, this message is taught through example.

Haru Hara Haruko. ^_^

People don't make speeches, they don't just talk and the lesson's all done- the lesson is lying so deep underneath the weird stuff that you have to dig to get to it. In fact, the whole series confused me to no end until I went on the internet for help and watched it a second time.

and, to this day, I have no idea what Fooly Cooly means.
