[Audio//Locked from Elysia]

Yo! I just want to thank everybody who's been talking to my little girl and being so kind to her! I was worried her being here she'd get really lonely without her mother, but she seems very happy! She talks about so many of the people she's met here, I'm so glad she's happy! She's my little social butterfly ( Read more... )

Your little girl is quite the ray of light here, Hughes-san. Has she been singing that song I taught her?

[Oh, and btw, she hacked that]

There's a discrepancy there, Hughes-san. There are notes in many of the medical records of scars that have remained post resurrection. There is a note that lost limbs cannot be restored either. I even have "Mr J Spark;s" in an autopsy report, if you were so interested.

I should also note that the other language you see commonly on official documents and city signs is another Earth language that originated in a region called Greece. And, going even further, many of the titles I have seen are another ancient Earth language called Latin. Very intriguing.

Haha, constantly~! Thanks for teaching it to her. Anything that makes my little girl happy makes me happy, too.

[Wonderful, that was the intention]

Hmm, sensible. If you could get that for me, that'd be great. I can come to the hospital later today. What kind of scars in particular?

Ah, so those must be the other languages I saw. Is there anybody in the city that can read those languages, maybe? They could hold something vital.

I'll have to teach her more, then.

[ Private // Unhackable ]

One case in particular, a certain Kazuki Hihara, has a rather large scar on his abdomen. There are others as well. I'll be certain to share those files with you as soon as I can copy them. Dr. Kureha may not be too keen on my sharing of this sort of information, though the autopsy report is public domain thanks to the trial it was involved in.

I know some Latin thanks to my work in the medical fields, and some Greek as well, but I am hardly fluent. Perhaps asking about the city?

That would be wonderful! I can't wait to hear the songs you teach her~! Her mother will love to hear them too, once Elysia's safe at home.

[Private // Unhackable]

Wonderful, I want that autopsy today, but when you can obtain the others in a bundle, I'd like to see those also.

Probably a good idea.

Does the Japanese language even exist in your world, Hughes-san?

[Private // Unhackable]

Consider it done. Was there anything else you needed?

Hmm? Yea, or at least something close to it. I had to learn it as a second language when I joined the military.

[Private//Unhackable]

Thanks, it helps a lot.

I don't think so. Is there anything else you know about the whole dying thing?

Is it conversational for you? Or just enough for typical military speak?

[Private//Unhackable]

I'm learning a great deal more about it than I ever expected in recent days.

Hmm? I read it better than I speak it, but I'm fluent enough.

[Private//Unhackable]

Anything particularly interesting?

Shall we give it a try?

[Private//Unhackable//Text]

The rate of revival seems to vary if a person has died before.

[He sighs] Doc, I'm not the sort to tell tall tales.

[Private//Unhackable//Text]

Really? What's the amount of change?

Your inflection needs work.

Upwards to an additional day, it seems. And even the documentation on previous cast suggests radical differences. One individual in particular seemed to have had an entire week behind him before showing up again, though he claims he was searching for his pet during this time. The sources aren't exactly reliable as this was recorded when the hospital was still considered a dangerous area.

[...]

Probably, it's not like it's my native language, haha!

[Private//Unhackable//Text]

That's strange. Sensible, I guess. Is that the longest time period on record?

It's not mine either, so that's no excuse Practice makes perfect, Hughes-san.

[Private//Unhackable//Text]

It's the longest since Dr. Weaver began noting them.

Haha, that's for sure. I'll get to work on that right away, Doc!

[Private//Unhackable//Text]

Dr. Weaver?

One of the former medical doctors here. I have amassed the collective notes of all the former medical personnel that have worked here and studied them thoroughly. Of course, many documents are missing and/or kept under lock and key by Doctorine...

Hmmm...

Maybe I oughta read through those also...

Sorry, Doc, these are the most official documents I've heard of so far. I think you'll be seeing me in the hospital for a lot more reasons than to visit the injured.
