YESASIA Package - Part 2 - L'Arc~en~Ciel FIVE LIVE ARCHIVES 2
Now, we have the box opening of the EPIC FIVE LIVE ARCHIVES 2 (FLA2).
Epic in terms of price, at 29400 yen, number of discs, at 5 DVDs, and also, packaging.
I've missed out on the FIVE LIVE ARCHIVES 1 which was released way back in 2007 because I was too broke then ;_; but I'm pretty sure I'll get my paws hands on it through Y!j some day... ʘ‿ʘ
And we start, always, in its most pristine form... "Snuggled in the comfort of bubble-wrap"
And when we're done with ripping the bubble wrap apart... TADA!

I thought the box was part of the package, until I read the following text as in the picture:
It says that the box is used for shipping purposes. Thus, if any soiling, damage or fold occurs, it cannot be returned/replaced.
... So, this is just your normal "brown shipping box", albeit a pretty one.
And off comes the brown box!
I was really amazed at the weight and feel of it when I removed it from the box.
See that silver sticker at the top right hand corner? This is my #2. Collect 5 of these and I'm off to participate in the L'20 Campaign...
Consumerism much? I know right... but I don't care 8D
And we are there, almost.
At this point, I can't help but feel that whoever designed the packaging is a freaking genius. I awed by the build and texture. The FLA 1 looks exactly the same, except that it was in Black. And I thought it was really crucial for the company to keep the design consistent, as these were meant to be a collector's item... And boy am I glad they did.
After a while, it hits me that this thing reminds me, vaguely, of a huge piece of funky LEGO... :P

When I took them out... There is an extra black sheet of paper.
To protect against scratches from rubbing against the hard plastic case. That is when I've noticed that...
The inside of the black paper was actually SHINYYY~~~! *please wait while I go into the corner and cry happy tears*
Little things like this makes me happy.... really.
And everything laid out side by side
They all look the same! I have to admit... haha.
I felt the EPICNESS when I opened the DVD box! And I thought the TWENITY was epic with 4 CDs ^^"
The rose design on the disk was also a continuation of FLA 1, but I think it looks slightly better here...
I don't own it yet, so I can't be sure.
The "Memorial Staff Pass Set"... Can you guess?
They are stickers... and fabric ones at that <3

I love them <3 I hope its not due to my sticker fetish. But I plan to stick them all over my new luggage :3
And the booklet. I was expecting documentary photos... but I'm glad that it was actually a compilations of the pamphlets (photo book) from the included tours. I've only been to the L'7 and Light My Fire II, so I've enjoyed looking through the other 3 pamphlets.
And yes, it did say "Which one do you like eating?" ... ROFL. WHO ELSE?!
