"Do you think, it will work?" Toma asked Shun.

"What will work?" Maki interrupted the pair by placing her face between the two men. Her bright eyes twinkled in the faint sunlight. Shun took the opportunity to pinch the girl's nose before reply, "nothing that should involve you!"

"Heyyyyyyyyy," she pulled back and rubbed her already-red nose, "don't bully me! To~~ma~~" Maki whined, tuggling the sleeve of Toma. Toma only gave her a weak smile and looked back at his cellphone. He wondered if he will email him about the rumours that were flying around.

"Ne, ne! Did you hear, Toma-kun's HanaKimi is a success!" The juniors were talking about Toma's new drama. Toma is well-loved by the juniors and even the seniors. It is still a mystery why he and remaining 3 TOPs have not debuted since they do have a particular fanbase. But that did not stop the seniors on pampering him and the juniors adoring him. And everyone in the jimusho wanted their favourite senpai or kouhai to actually debut and be successful.

This, obviously includes Toma's favourite Yamashita Tomohisa or rather known as "Yamapi".

However, Yamapi was not feeling to great about his favourite Toma's success with his latest drama. Let's put it this way. He had mixed feelings. He was delighted when he knew that Toma had gotten the role of Nakatsu Shuuichi, and knew that it would bring Toma up the fame-chart. However, with the on-going filming and blog entries from Toma and Shun, an evil feeling called jealousy was brewing within him.

Because, no one calls Toma his wife, except him.

"Oguri-san and Ikuta-san kissed in episode two! Kyaaaaaaaaa," the fangirls squealed in excitement as he walked down the street. Episode Two of HanaKimi aired yesterday and everyone was talking about it. Or rather, everyone who watched was talking about the kissing scene. "Yes! Did you watch the variety show this morning??? Oguri-san even commented that they had to kiss 12 times because they kept NG-ing! But he didn't mind because Ikuta-san's lips were so soft! Kyaaaaaaa!"

Yamapi crushed the flyer he just took and and threw it into the nearest bin with a vengence.

Over the next few weeks, Yamashita had only J-Web as his source of information about Toma. He thought this was what a fan must had felt like as he scrolled through another entry. The beach, it was where he wanted to be and where Toma was at for a location shoot. The only small comfort he had was that Oguri had no parts in it and Yuu was there to keep an eye on things.

When Akanishi barged into the NewS’ gakuya* he found his good friend nose deep in the pile of notes, scribbling vigorously on his notebook.

“Yo!” he said as he dragged a chair over to sit. Yamashita looked up from his notes for a moment, upon registering it was Jin he returned to his previous task.
“OI!” Jin almost shouted, as he prodded his best friend. “Did you watch the previous episode of HanaKimi? Toma is really good.”

Not wanting to hear a word about the drama which was had taken up a lot of Toma’s time and kisses, Yamashita decided to end the conversation by mumbling, “I don’t have time to watch the show.”

“WHAT?!” Akanishi shouted, unable to believe what he had heard.
Still trying to ignore the topic, Yamashita ignored the outburst, “You are too loud.”
“I can’t believe you haven’t watched it!” Akanishi continued, not taking the hint.
“Why are you here anyway?” Yamashita decided to cut in before he could continue. “Isn’t KAT-TUN’s shoot at the next studio?”

“Oh!” Jin exclaimed again. “I almost forgot. Do you want to have yakiniku tonight?” he asked.
Looking at his assignment that he was trying to complete, and back at his friend again, “Aren’t you suppose to be on a diet?” he asked, although tempted by the offer.
“I will eat less rice, and drink only light beer……” exasperated by his friend’s logic, Yamashita was about to make a retort when Jin finished his sentence by saying “…It was Toma that invited me anyway, and I haven’t seen him for sometime.”

It was nearly 8pm when Toma arrived at the Yakiniku shop with Shirota Yuu.

“Yamashita!”
“Yuu-kun!” as respective pairs exclaimed at the arrival of extra guests. After the initial embarrassment of almost causing a commotion has worn off, the fours started to enjoy their food, talking over the sizzling sound of the cooking meat.

After the meal, Akanishi volunteered to drive Yuu home, allowing Yamashita to spend some time with Toma. However before he could strike up a conversation that did not involve the drama, he discovered Toma was dozing off. Looking to his side when he stopped at the traffic lights, he observed the dark rings that had became more obvious after he had removed his makeup. Feeling a pang in his heart, he wished that he could bring Toma home immediately and tuck him in.
As if sensing that someone was staring at him, Toma roused from his light slumber. “Yamashita?” he said, his voice hoarse, sending shivers down Yamashita’s spine. “Isn’t your place closer to the yakiniku ya?” he asked.
“Yes.” He replied, not understanding why Toma asked him that.
“Can I sleepover tonight then?”

Toma did not have to ask twice, as Yamashita immediately took a right turn and drove towards his apartment. That night Yamashita had the best night’s rest he had in day with his lover sleeping beside him. Although Toma was gone by the time he was awake, the faint scene that he left behind and the note attached to breakfast with hearts drawn on it was enough to keep him happy for days.

The members of NewS were on full alert that day as a dark cloud hang over their leader, after hearing the latest information that was supplied by Oguri Shun on his radio station. Apparently, Toma had spent three nights staying over at his place, and then went to the filming location together.

Yamashita cannot deny this time that he was jealous. Not only because Toma had only spent one night over at his place in that couple of months, but also because he did not have the chance to go to work with Toma anymore.

Notes:
*pls think of a way to translate it? I could only come up with restroom
I was too lazy to develop the yakiniku-ya scene (more like too lazy to write more….)
Okie…I gave you an open-ended ending to continue
And….Oguri does have a blog thing…
Paid subscription…I think it is something like Jweb
