ALWAYS BE CREATING
I had a system crash yesterday. Microsoft pushed a bajillion updates, and I didn't bother to read each one. One update was a suggested one from the manufacturer of my hard drive controller, and it didn't bother to check that the version it was pushing was older than the one I had, or that my Anti-Virus was on, which would cause it to error out. This equals a dead hard drive. Thank god for Acronis.
While waiting for my hard-drive backup to re-write me a new one over 5 hours, I cracked a new book called About Face 3: The Essentials of Interaction Design by Alan Cooper, Robert Reimann, and David Cronin. I know I haven't painted or taken a photo since I got Lasik, but there is a definite creativity and aesthetic to my daily work. This book, first edition in 1995 documents and analyzes the evolution of *process* in creation of digital products.
Whatever your discipline or tools, I am a strong believer in results. A, B, C, ...Always Be Creating. Coffee is for Creators only.
