Glad the week is done. What a long, long time to sit in a sauna AKA the UT Student Aquatic Center. Man, it has worn me out. But it's done.
Things went well for the most part. The first five sessions were great, getting all our information off a computer, being able to control how much we were getting. And then the wireless connection between the timer and our room fizzled out. So two people ran back and forth between the spots. It was crazy.
I'm not going into any more boring details, but for those who helped, thanks a lot. Kyle, Jason, Casey, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Meredith, Wes, Brian R. and especially Matt, thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into this weekend to keep us running. We, and I know I speak for Mark, could not have done it without you. It was a pleasure working with you all. Also thanks to Erin, Christa, Carol and Steve for going above and beyond the call of duty helping us out. You guys were great, and my only regret is that we were not good host SIDs to get everyone out together as a group for one night of fun. That will be corrected next time.
I've been planning to finally write a somewhat neutral thing, but that will come later. Here's your hint of what that will be about: my four favorite words strung together have now come to pass . . .
