...really
i get amazing service at the bars now. well, el bait shop and the saddle at least.
those are the only 2 bars that i frequent. here are the stories...
last week monday i went to el bait shop and got 3 beers. i was expecting a tab of around $8-10. it was $5. so i gave mike a $3 tip. get that...a 60% tip. i think he likes the way i tip :-)
tuesday i went to the saddle for tear it up tuesday. it was a BAD night...
i had a bit of vodka before i left home in the form of a strong cranberry juice/vodka. then i left to the saddle. got there and asked what they had on tap cause i really didn't know, even though i had been there several times. i found they have amberbock on tap. how amazing is that? so i start getting amberbock at $1 a glass. of course, i'm tipping $1 each for the first 2 beers, then no tip on the third, then tip the next 2, etc. that's a 66.667% tip. well, after the 5th drink ($9) i got a free shot of jager from the bartender. don't really know why, but he gave it to me. i then blacked out. all i remember for a while is that i danced and made out with a couple people (a friend tasha and some guy i later [yesterday] got the name of...nick). during this time i also spent another $4, but i don't know on what or anything.
i briefly came to at one point when i was trying to text or call someone. my phone decided to jump out of my hand (literally). it fell on the the ground. *snap* it is now in 2 completely disconnected pieces.
i was devastated. so i got in my car (i thought it was around midnight...it was apparently about 1. i drove home. i don't even remember getting in my car. it was BAD. i got home and apparently couldn't figure out how to unlock the door so one of my roommates had to open it up and let me in...yes i drove completely plastered and yes i know that was BAD. i've been yelled at many times now...
well, yesterday i went out to the saddle again (of course). i only spent $10 for a total of 6 amberbocks. what was amazing is that after my first drink, i just had to stand at the bar with my empty glass and the bartender (emilio?) would see me and grab a new glass and fill it for me (and give me very little head in the glass). i never even had to tell him what i wanted anymore, he remembered. i found it rather funny and very nice. i think he liked how i was tiping as he did get a $4 tip from me and i think he knew it. i drove home again, but i wasn't quite as drunk, i do vaguely remember driving home.
so yea...i'm the poster child for alcoholism now (i've been drinking a LOT...)
